Newsletter — April 2026

A new month arrives with fresh momentum and new creative energy, as we continue bringing international artists and audiences together across borders.

In this issue, we share what our artists are up to on the road and how our team at Rockstar Entertainment Group supports careers behind the scenes.

Spotlight

ANNA – LASS ES LIEBE SEIN

“Anna – Lass es Liebe sein” is a captivating tribute to the musical legacy of singer AnNa R., who passed away in 2025, and the iconic German pop band Rosenstolz. Combining emotional depth, powerful pop, and authentic performance, this show creates a live experience that moves and inspires.

At the center of it all is Julia Vieregge, a magnificent musical theater performer with over 15 years of stage experience. Her vocal resemblance to AnNa R. and her charismatic stage presence make her the ideal choice for the role.

She is supported by a four-piece live band consisting of professional musicians with palpable musical sensitivity. The show premiere on Feb 7 in Bendorf was a raging success, the tickets for the event had sold out within 8 days after the official announcement. We’re excited to see this project lift off the ground!

SAINT CITY ORCHESTRA –

THIS AIN’T QUIET TOUR  2025/2026

When Saint City Orchestra goes on tour, every club becomes a vibrant space bursting with energy. “This Ain’t Quiet” is loud on record, but live it becomes a collective outcry against silence and stagnation. What matters here isn’t perfection, but connection, authenticity, and songs that hit home. The band and the audience become one, and every night develops its own unique dynamic.

These are nights full of emotion, truth, and people who feel the same beat – strangers become allies, choruses become battle cries. This tour is for everyone who lives life loud and seeks genuine moments.

SCHLAGERKOMMANDO ignites the stage with a blazing first show

Schlagerkommando blends the biggest Schlager hits with a rock edge, creating a truly unique live experience. Tradition meets modern energy as familiar melodies are reimagined with powerful guitar riffs, driving drums, and a show packed with dynamic intensity.

Led by Dino Serci, who has already achieved great success with his Unheilig tribute band Scheinheilig, this band brings the party to the crowd and gets everyone on their feet.

The show was such a success that the band spontaneously extended their set by another 45 minutes, yet still left the people wanting more.

Snapshot

What’s Happening in the Music Business

Marshall launches new program to support independent venues:

Marshall has introduced Amplify, a free membership initiative that pledges the equivalent of 1% of its members’ purchases on marshall.com to help sustain independent music venues around the world. The program supports these spaces through backline donations, event funding, and long-term partnerships. This initiative arrives at a crucial moment, as economic pressure on small venues continues to rise while the top end of the live industry reaches record-breaking numbers. Marshall’s commitment helps strengthen the foundation of live music (the spaces where new artists and communities grow).

U.S. Supreme Court rules out copyright for fully AI-generated works:

The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to review the DABUS case, in which a computer scientist had sought copyright protection for an image created entirely by his AI, without any human involvement. The decision upholds previous rulings affirming that only works with a human author can qualify for copyright protection under U.S. law.

However, this limitation applies specifically to content produced autonomously by machines. Creations developed with AI tools (where identifiable human creativity is present) remain a gray area still being debated in courts.

In practice, this means that music generated entirely by platforms like Suno or Udio currently has no legal owner in the U.S. While this protects the royalty pool from massive dilution, it also leaves fully AI-created content in a kind of legal limbo.

TikTok x Spotify: New tools bridge viral hits to streams:

TikTok and Spotify continue to evolve their partnership with features like “Add to Music App,” letting users save TikTok-discovered tracks directly into Spotify playlists with one tap. This closes the loop between short-form discovery and full-stream listening, a critical move as TikTok drives over 60% of some artists’ initial Spotify streams.

For music teams, it’s a reminder to optimize content for conversion. Strong hooks in the first 3 seconds paired with clear CTAs like “Link in bio” or “Add to Spotify” can now turn casual scrolls into loyal listeners. These platform integrations are reshaping artist strategy in 2026.

That’s it for this month – but there’s so much more to come! Look forward to new artists, exclusive insights and more musical surprises from the Rockstar Publishing universe.
