Newsletter — June 2026

A new month arrives with fresh momentum and new creative energy, as we continue bringing international artists and audiences together across borders.

In this issue, we share what our artists are up to on the road and how our team at Rockstar Entertainment Group supports careers behind the scenes.

Spotlight

LINDA FÄH

Linda Fäh, is one of the most recognized voices in the Swiss music scene. After more than 15 years in the Schlager industry, she is entering a new and more personal chapter of her career, reconnecting with her roots through songs in Swiss dialect.

This month, she released her new single, ¨Im mim chline Dorf”, an emotional track inspired by her hometown and the values of simple and authentic living. The song also marks the beginning of her first album entirely in Swiss dialect.

In addition, Linda has just been awarded the prestigious Prix Walo in the Schlager category, one of the most important recognitions in Swiss entertainment, confirming this exciting moment in her artistic career.

What’s Happening in the Music Business

Spotify to Launch Priority Ticket Access for Superfans

Spotify has announced “Reserved,” a new system that will give loyal fans early access to concert tickets. The platform will identify these “superfans” based on metrics such as streams, shares, and overall activity within the app, allowing them to purchase up to two tickets before general sale.

The program will initially be available to Premium users over 18 in the United States and aims to fight ticket reselling while rewarding genuine fan loyalty. With this move, Spotify continues to strengthen its position in the live entertainment business, where it claims to have already generated more than $1.5 billion in ticket sales for artists.

Music royalty-backed financing: potential slowdown in 2026

The market for royalty-backed music bonds has grown significantly in recent years, driven by large-scale catalog acquisitions and the monetization of future income streams. Since 2020, approximately $12.9 billion in this type of debt has been issued.

However, forecasts suggest a potential 25% decline in new issuances in 2026, due to sector consolidation and reduced demand for refinancing after the recent boom. This points to a shift toward a more mature market with fewer new deals.

AI music vs sync revenue: disruption or controversy?

The American Dollar has filed a lawsuit against AI music platform Suno, claiming the service was trained on their catalogue without permission and has contributed to a sharp decline in their business.

According to the group, their sync licensing income has dropped by nearly 80% since Suno’s launch, raising concerns about how AI-generated music is impacting traditional revenue streams in film, TV, and advertising.

The case adds fuel to the debate around AI in music — not only around copyright and training data, but also whether AI tools are beginning to replace human-created music in commercial markets.

FOR ROCKSTARS…

Did you know…  At Rockstar Entertainment we work closely with AMW Aurora Music Works (UK) Ltd, a company backed by over 80 years of combined experience in the guitar industry and strong relationships across leading global brands.
